Haryana will not conduct any entrance examination for providing admission to its MBBS/BDS seats. In order to take admission, aspirants have to appear for the national level test namely NEET that offer admission to undergraduate medical and dental seats. After the conduct of examination, result will be announced and candidates whose names are mentioned in the merit list are required to appear in the counselling and admission process for allotment of seats.
Admission in the medical colleges of Haryana will be done on the basis of National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET). Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts NEET-UG for providing admission to the MBBS/BDS programme. Aspirants have to score well in NEET-UG for admission in the top medical/dental colleges of Haryana. The entrance examination of NEET will be conducted in the first week of May, 2017.

CBSE will prepare the NEET 2017 merit list for the qualified candidates. After the publication of merit list, students are called for the counselling process. The counselling will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) in online mode. During the counselling procedure, candidates have to select the choices for the colleges. Seats are allotted to the candidates on the basis of rank scored and the choices of their preference. The candidates are required to report to the assigned institute with seat allotment letter for taking admission in MBBS. The admission is only confirmed after the successful payment of the admission fee.
